Wednesday, May 15 – Col des Bagenelles and Roche du coq de Bruyère

Join a 10 km hike with a 400 m elevation gain at Col des Bagenelles. You will discover the magnificent Roche du coq de Bruyère as well as the Tree of Liberty. Meeting at 1 PM at the Match carpool parking in Sélestat or at 1:45 PM at Col des Bagenelles (carpool contribution: €4).

Thursday, May 16 – Ribeauvillé and Rochers Saint-Jacques

Explore the surroundings of Ribeauvillé on a 16 km hike with a 600 m elevation gain. You will admire the Rochers Saint-Jacques and the Bilstein. Packed lunch. Meeting at 9 AM at the Match carpool parking in Sélestat or at 9:30 AM at Hohlegasse parking in Ribeauvillé.

Sunday, May 19 – Salm and Coucou Pond

Discover Salm on a 20 km hike with a 600 m elevation gain. You will explore Coucou Pond, Salm Castle, the Hanging Cat Rock, Haute Loge, Bipierre Chapel, and the Maxe Marsh. Packed lunch. Departure at 8:30 AM from the Match carpool parking in Sélestat or 9:30 AM in Salm.

Tuesday, May 21 – Villé Valley and Lilaveronica Garden

Join a stroll through the Villé Valley while visiting the military cemetery, the Lilaveronica garden with its “Biodiversity in the Open Air” exhibition, then head towards Saint-Maurice, Hohwarth and return to Thanvillé. Departure at 1:30 PM from Match Sélestat parking (carpool) or at 1:50 PM from Thanvillé church parking.

Thursday, May 17 – Haut-Koenigsbourg Massif

Enjoy an outing suitable for seniors around the Haut-Koenigsbourg Massif starting from Schaflaeger. An 8 km hike with a maximum elevation gain of 175 m and no particular difficulties. Meeting at the parking lot of Remparts (Tennis club) in Sélestat at 1:30 PM for carpooling (contribution €1) to Schaflaeger restaurant. Guide of the day: Jean Fuchs.

Sunday, May 19 – Rosheim and Dry Lawns

Good walkers will have the opportunity to enjoy a day-long balcony hike around Rosheim. The 15 km circuit with a positive elevation gain of 300 m will take you through Rosenwiller, the dry lawns by the vineyard, the Jewish cemetery and Bischenberg. Meals and drinks from home.
