A personal anecdote and thoughts on visiting Kolbsheim

On my last visit to Kolbsheim, I had the chance to lose myself in the château gardens. The feeling of being enveloped by the beauty of this almost fairytale place was exhilarating. Sitting on a bench, I was even lucky enough to witness a wedding, the guests’ laughter mingling with the birdsong. The panorama over the Alsace plain was worthy of a postcard. I took the hiking trail leading to the highest point of the Scharrach, and it was a feast for the eyes: one breathtaking panorama after another, with green vineyards in the foreground and the rounded summits of the Vosges on the horizon. After a busy hike, a little break in a local bistro over a flammekueche was an unforgettable treat. With its authentic charm and friendly atmosphere, Kolbsheim remains etched in my memory as a destination where life is good and where you can truly recharge.

Enzo

Hi, I'm Enzo! I'm the guy who loves lacing up his hiking boots to explore the rugged trails of the Vosges. Passionate about nature and photography, I take you along through articles that capture the scent of fir forests and the charm of mountain lakes. I live for those moments when the sun rises over the Haut-Koenigsbourg or when I stumble upon an authentic inn along the way. My goal? To inspire you to get out, breathe in the fresh Alsatian air, and always have a great spot for a tarte flambée to share at the end of the day.
