The national 123 Pare-Brise network is continuing to expand and has opened a brand-new centre in Haguenau. This new site in the Bas-Rhin strengthens the brand’s presence in the Grand Est region, where it already has eighteen centres, giving local drivers access to an expert service for windscreen repair and windscreen replacement in Haguenau.
123 Pare-Brise: excellence and expertise
Since it was founded, 123 Pare-Brise has risen to become one of the leaders in car glazing in France. The company stands out for the quality of its customer welcome and the technical skill of its teams. This professionalism was recognised by Capital magazine, which named 123 Pare-Brise “Best Windscreen Chain” in 2025, for the second year running.
The chain aims to offer a flawless customer experience. Its advantages include covering the insurance excess up to €150, a free courtesy car and no upfront payment for insured customers. It also guarantees transparent invoicing, so customers with glass breakage cover have nothing left to pay.
123 Pare-Brise can work on all types of vehicles and glazing. Windscreen replacement comes with attractive guarantees (one year’s breakage guarantee, plus lifetime guarantees on fitting and watertightness).

Why deal with a chip?
Have you spotted a crack or a chip in your windscreen in Haguenau? Many drivers play down the urgency of repairing this kind of damage, thinking it has no consequences. Yet it is crucial not to ignore these defects, for several reasons:
- Reduced safety: the windscreen plays a key role in protecting passengers, particularly in accidents or rollovers. A crack weakens its structure and reduces its effectiveness.
- Impaired visibility: clear vision is essential for driving safely. A chip or crack can obstruct your view, especially at night or in bad weather. If the damaged area is in your field of vision, replacing the windscreen becomes urgent.
- Roadworthiness test: the condition of the windscreen is closely checked during the French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique). To avoid a re-test, it must not have a crack longer than 30 cm, nor a chip larger than 3 cm or located in the driver’s field of vision.
- Risk of a fine: driving with a damaged windscreen can lead to a fine of up to €68, especially if visibility is affected, under Article R316-1 of the French Highway Code.
For your safety and to avoid any penalty, it is therefore strongly recommended that you have your windscreen repaired or replaced as soon as any damage appears.
