An enchanting event in the heart of the village

The celebration takes place in the centre of Muttersholtz, a charming little Alsatian village surrounded by many waterways, between the Pont du Neugraben and the Halle des Synergies. The flat-bottomed boat is the ideal craft for navigating the Ried, and it is the Batelier du Ried (the Ried boatman) who is tasked with bringing Father Christmas safely ashore. Half a day is enough to enjoy it to the full.

Encounters and entertainment

The highlight remains meeting Father Christmas, who fills the youngest visitors with wonder. Between strolls around the market, young and old alike will enjoy the festive atmosphere of this village event.

Food and crafts on the stalls

The market stalls will offer plenty to feast on and to prepare for the festive season. Visitors can taste bredele, the typical little Christmas biscuits, and other sweets, with a refreshment bar and snacks on site. Decorations and gifts to slip under the tree will round off the visit.

Enzo

Hi, I'm Enzo! I'm the guy who loves lacing up his hiking boots to explore the rugged trails of the Vosges. Passionate about nature and photography, I take you along through articles that capture the scent of fir forests and the charm of mountain lakes. I live for those moments when the sun rises over the Haut-Koenigsbourg or when I stumble upon an authentic inn along the way. My goal? To inspire you to get out, breathe in the fresh Alsatian air, and always have a great spot for a tarte flambée to share at the end of the day.
